Sadie Engelhardt, an eighth-grader from Ventura, Calif., representing Valley United Striders, took third in the open/unattached/girls mile in a personal-best 4:50.31 at the NIKE Chandler Rotary Invitational at Austin Field in Chandler, Ariz. Engelhardt also achieved a personal-best 1,600-meter split at 4:48.73.
