Brooklyn Montgomery, a senior at Campo Verde High in Arizona, repeated as winner in the girls elite discus throw competition with a 140-2 (42.73m) performance at the 84th NIKE Chandler Rotary Invitational in Chandler, Ariz. Montgomery also finished fifth in the elite shot put with a mark of 37-9 (11.50m). She became the first female athlete at the meet to secure back-to-back elite discus victories since Kayleigh Conlon of Mountain Pointe in 2016-17.
