Trace White, a junior at American Leadership Academy (Anthem) in Arizona, won the boys elite triple jump with a 48-3 (14.70m) effort at the 84th NIKE Chandler Rotary Invitational at Austin Field in Chandler, Ariz. White edged Nathan Moreno of Mountain Ridge High at 48-1 (14.65m), with the athletes becoming only the second pair in meet history to both surpass the 48-foot mark in the same triple jump competition.
