New Mexico junior standouts Corbin Coombs from Organ Mountain High and Charlie Vause of Rio Rancho High secured the top two spots in the boys elite 1,600 meters at the 84th NIKE Chandler Rotary Invitational at Austin Field in Chandler, Ariz. Coombs clocked 4:09.13 and Vause ran 4:10.99 after the athletes also swept the top two places in the elite 3,200 meters as well.
