Sir-Jonathan Sims, a senior at Chandler High in Arizona, was selected male field athlete of the meet at the 82nd Nike Chandler Rotary Invitational at Austin Field at Chandler High. Sims, a transfer from Hermitage High in Virginia, won the invitational boys long jump with a leap of 23-7 (7.18m) and prevailed in the invitational boys triple jump with a 48-5 (14.75m) effort in his debut at the event.
